Description
Ragnaud Sabourin XXO Cognac
Ragnaud Sabourin is back in stock with another limited batch. Ragnaud Sabourin XXO is a product of around 30 years spent aging in French oak barrels. Combing Ugni Blanc grapes with the much rarer Folle Blanche variety, it is a unique offering that withstands the test of time.
As one of the most prestigious Cognac houses in the region, its private estate produced the finest Grand Champagne Cognacs from its 35 hectares of vineyards. Founded by M.Gaston Briand, who was responsible for the identification of the different esteemed Cognac terroirs back in 1909 - the Ragnaud Sabourin estate holds a fundamental part of Cognac history. Today the brand is renowned for remaining independent and family-owned with the core value of only creating Cognac of the best quality and therefore in limited quantities.
Presentation of the bottle
This beautifully mature XXO Cognac is showcased in a sleek and sophisticated bottle which reveals the Cognac's sparkling gold color with elegance. The bottle's label and neck feature a luxurious bronze background, with gold and silver typography detailing the Coganc's product information alongside the Ragnaud Sabourin branding. It presents in a luxurious manner, making it the perfect choice (not just for its fine quality and remarkable age) to grace the table when entertaining guests for a special occasion.
How to enjoy
The best way to enjoy XXO Cognac is of course, neat, at room temperature. Allow the Cognac to breathe in the glass for a few moments before taking the first sip. This way the aromas have time to evolve and develop in harmony. If you'd like to lengthen the tasting, try adding an ice cube to the glass, as the melting mineral water will evoke the Cognac to develop in a slightly different way.

Ragnaud Sabourin XXO Cognac
Nose: On first pour there is a sharp spirit note. This suggests a youthful freshness, despite the fact that this is not a young Cognac. With air, the spirity note blows off and is replaced by a pretty florality and soft fruit candies. Sweet citrus. Fresh cake with a high quality icing or glaze; there...
