Monnet XXO Cognac
Monnet XXO invites tasters into an unprecedented journey of the senses through its exceptional nuances of complexity. Produced in very small quantities, it is a very rare Cognac that epitomizes Monnet's savoir-faire, with perfect roundness. Having aged for at least 14 years in French oak casks (however with much of the eaux-de-vie maturing for much longer) this XXO represents some of the maturest Cognac blends on the market. Discover its aromatic complexity, with an open mind, fresh palate and an appetite for indulgent experiences - and this XXO is sure to delight.
Maison Monnet takes pride in crafting Cognacs that can be likened to shining jewels, filled with brightness, polished to perfection and the result of both time and the hard work of man-kind. Passing down secular tradition, enriched through the years and through the different generations, the house of Monnet has been preserving history whilst breaking the boundaries of quality since 1838.
Presentation of the bottle
Monnet XXO decanter’s design conveys exactly what an exceptional Cognac should look like and presents perfect roundness and ultimate smoothness, combined with the strong energy of the Salamander - in exactly the same way as the eaux-de-vie contained inside. The unique round form of the bottle is also emblematic of just how rare the eaux-de-vie that makes up this Cognac truly is - while the chocolate brown reptile print bottle top and matching display box inject a stylish air of sophistication to the finishing look. As one that could be compared with the splendour of a luxury cologne bottle, this Cognac certainly deserved to be showcased out on display where everyone can see it.
How to enjoy
Revealing exceptional roundness, finesse and length, we recommend serving this XO the traditional way - neat or on the rocks. End the tasting with a fine cigar of your choice to extend the pleasurable experience even further.
Mellow and pleasant
The bottle was opened at a family party: My wife said that the liquor in the bottle was like ginger sugar water that Chinese people like to drink. After opening the special wooden bottle cap, it overflowed with rosin, cherry fruit, almond, and then tobacco leaves and a fragrance of grass after rain....
