Description

Tesseron Royal Blend

Tesseron Royal Blend Rare is multi-layered Cognac that is favorably rich, yet delectably light and Spring-like. Originally commissioned by a royal family, it is composed of a selection of extremely old Grande Champagne cognacs, aged between 50-100 years, chosen from the Tesseron family's private collection that is renowned for its exceptional fruity and floral aromas. Royal Blend spent its early months in new Limousin oak casks and later completed its aging for two generations in “Tierçons”, the oldest and the most precious barrels.

Tesseron Cognac specializes in high-end Cognac, exclusively producing “XO and beyond” blends from their ancestral home in Chateauneuf-sur-Charente. It is a house renowned for producing reserved and rare stocks that are revolutionary amongst connoisseurs across the world since the late 19th century. It is this excellence that brought a Cognac as exceptional as the Royal Blend into existence. Boasting an endearing rarity, there are only 1000 bottles in selection making it a superb choice for connoisseurs.

Presentation of the bottle

Presented in a hand-blown decanter, the display is simply divine. Specially commissioned from a French master glassblower, it’s an art by itself. Modeled as a faithful replica of the decanters discovered in the family’s treasured Paradis cellar, it features a considerable masterpiece. Finished in an excellent folding red display box, brilliance embodies down to the last detail.

How to enjoy

To savor the royal essence of this Cognac, enjoy neat with slow tips. Save for a special occasion and take your time appreciating this masterpiece.

About Tesseron Cognac

Tesseron Cognac specializes in high-end Cognac, exclusively producing “XO and beyond” blends from their ancestral home in Chateauneuf-sur-Charente, which lies between Cognac and Angouleme. When founder Abel Tesseron, whose face features on the company’s logo, acquired the property in the late 19th century, he patiently conserved his stocks of eaux-de-vie in the 12th-century crypt located deep underneath the domain, selling his matured masterpieces to various larger Cognac houses. These reserved and rare stocks have become legendary amongst Cognac connoisseurs the world over. It was, however, only in 2003 that the fourth generation of Tesserons made the decision to release a range under their own name, armed with an unrivalled Cognac craftsmanship and fueled by the legacy left by their grandfather, the iconic brand Tesseron Cognac was born.

The Tesserons are also active in wine production, owning the esteemed Chateau Pontet-Canet, a Pauillac classified property producing Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux Wine.
