Tesseron XO Passion Cognac is a unique blend from Tesseron's variety of growing areas. The grapes used are Ugni Blanc. Over one century and four generations, the Tesseron family have developed a treasury of knowledge, tradition and family secrets to create a collection of exceptional XO cognacs.
With this unique heritage as their guide, Alfred and Mélanie Tesseron, the current keepers of the family flame, are driven by a passion and their desire to share it with you.
About Tesseron Cognac
Tesseron Cognac specializes in high-end Cognac, exclusively producing “XO and beyond” blends from their ancestral home in Chateauneuf-sur-Charente, which lies between Cognac and Angouleme. When founder Abel Tesseron, whose face features on the company’s logo, acquired the property in the late 19th century, he patiently conserved his stocks of eaux-de-vie in the 12th-century crypt located deep underneath the domain, selling his matured masterpieces to various larger Cognac houses. These reserved and rare stocks have become legendary amongst Cognac connoisseurs the world over. It was, however, only in 2003 that the fourth generation of Tesserons made the decision to release a range under their own name, armed with an unrivalled Cognac craftsmanship and fueled by the legacy left by their grandfather, the iconic brand Tesseron Cognac was born.
The Tesserons are also active in wine production, owning the esteemed Chateau Pontet-Canet, a Pauillac classified property producing Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux Wine.
