Description
An award-winning Fine Champagne XO Cognac
This Cognac has so much to offer. The Renault Carte d'Argent XO Cognac consists of a blend of very old eaux-de-vies aged between 10 and 30 years from both the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne regions, also known together as the Fine Champagne, celebrated for their very fine floral aromas and lengthy finish on the palate.
Renault Cognacs are matured first in new oak casks, and then once they have spent 6 months developing their color and aroma, the final aging is carried out in older barrels. With the Carte d’Argent XO Cognac, will experience hints of honey, chocolate, toffee, walnuts, and tobacco combine together in a harmony of velvety suppleness - and the finish is long and satisfying.
This XO Cognac offers tremendous value for money for such quality. Perfect for the connoisseur as a staple, or the ideal gift for any cognac lover.
This is a fantastic expression of the Renault style in Cognac making and harmonizes some of the oldest eaux-de-vie in the blend from the house’s “Paradise” Cellar.

Outstanding Cognac
Initially shows a lot of plum on the nose, followed by hints of candied fruit, nuts, and fig as it opens. Very silky in the mouth, with subtle honey, a nuttiness, toffee, and cocoa on the palate. It’s hard to call this a bargain at roughly $365, but it is, and an outstanding Cognac!
About Renault Cognac
The house of Renault Cognac (sometimes referred to as Renault & Co Cognac) has a history that can be traced back to 1835. The house was founded by one Jean-Antonin Renault at the tender age of 25. Mr Renault came from a long line of Charentais merchants, and living in the centre of the town of Cognac it made sense that he moved into the production of eaux-de-vie.
