Description
A 2019 Seasonal Special: Limited Edition Remy Martin XO
As the months turn colder, the seasonal colors across the Cognac vineyards transform into deep shades of ruby red and burnt orange. To celebrate the imminent arrival of the festive season, one of the Big Four Cognac houses present the Remy Martin XO Christmas 2019 Limited Edition Cognac.
If not a collector’s item, this will make a unique gift for a Cognac lover this Holiday period.
A unique celebration for 2019 alone, their iconic Remy Martin 2019 XO Cognac is presented in a gorgeously tinted box to pay homage to the vines of their terroirs.
This luxury presentation box houses eaux-de-vie of the rarest quality - and it has been aged for at least 10 years in aged Limousin oak casks, although many have been aged for far longer.
The blend itself is made with only the most elite Cognacs. In fact, 85% of the blend is composed of eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne, and 15% from the Petite Champagne. It all dates back to 1981, when Cellar Master André Giraud set out to create an XO that would express the exceptional quality of the Fine Champagne crus.
In the finest Rémy Martin elegance, this Cognac presents a complex assembly of aromas, with white flowers such as jasmine and iris. The rich mahogany of the liquid perfectly matches the exterior box, and is a must for any Cognac collector.
Awards
The nectar within has caught the attention of many a critic.
- Gold Medal at the 2010 Spirits Business Cognac Masters (UK)
- Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2014
Presentation of the Remy Martin 2019 XO Limited Edition decanter
Stored in the iconic XO decanter, the fanned out glass is a work of art in itself. The glass is tinted various shades of yellow and amber to match the liquid within, and it arrives in a box that shows the transformation of the vine leaves from autumn to winter.
Serving Suggestions
This opulent blend should be enjoyed straight at room temperature, or even on ice. If you prefer to use it in a long drink, try an Old Fashioned cocktail.
