Description

Raymond Bossis XO Oeuvre d'art Cognac

In celebration of 100 years of Raymon Bossis history, the brand reveals Oeuvre d'art Cognac XO. Combining decades of savoir-faire in collaboration with the work of uber-talented artist Sam Grégoire (Art SG), this honourable Cognac is a work of art in itself. From the carefully crafted and beautifully matured eaux-de-vie contained inside to the artistically designed decanter and presentation box. Expect big things from this outstanding Cognac gem.

Curated for sentimental value purposes, only nineteen bottles have been released for sale - making it a truly unique and special collector's item worth cherishing.

Raymond Bossis is a family-run Cognac house committed to respecting the environment and seeking to make the most of its thriving vineyards. According to Optimus protocol, using traditional technologies and sustainable farming, they work to minimize the impact of pesticides on their grapes and eaux-de-vie. As a member of the Federation of Independent Winegrowers, the house of Raymond Bossis guarantees the involvement of the winemaker at all stages of production: from winemaking, in the cellar, harvesting the grapes and marketing. The estate offers a wide range of products ranging from natural grape juice to Pineau des Charentes, Charentais wines, sparkling wines and Cognacs of varying age categories.

Presentation of the bottle

Featured in a crystal blown carafe, finished with a sumptuous gold bottle stopper - this work of art is a true masterpiece that should be presented out on display like any other artwork would-be.

Artist Sam Gregoire makes his mark by splatting multi-coloured paint over both the label work and the glassware to form a stunning merge of contemporary flavor with the opulent splendour of the classic style of the carafe itself. Accompanying the bottle is further work from Gregoire which presents a bespoke display box and protection sleeve for the bottle.

As a one-of-a-kind collector’s item, this extravagant XO is sure to complete a discerning connoisseur or Cognac enthusiasts collection with a pop of color and modern flare.

How to enjoy

Such a beautifully aged Cognac should be served traditionally - neat and at room temperature. Pair with a rich cheese platter to enjoy the Cognac as an accompaniment to an aperitif or sip it on its own as a digestive at the end of an indulgent meal.
