Description

Raymond Bossis XO Brut de Fût Cognac

Raymond Bossis XO Brut de Fût Cognac is a rare and unique blend bottled at 56% vol. The natural degree of this unreduced Cognac has benefited exclusively from a natural evaporation method, called "Part des Anges" for more than 40 years. Due to its lengthy maturation process, the Cognac presents unrivalled aromatic power and flavor. Since the blend stands proud as being both unassembled and unfiltered, it is able to reveal all the characteristics of a well-matured XO. Bottled in very limited quantities, XO Brut de Fût owes its credit to the Raymond Bossis Cellar Master; Jean-Luc who carefully crafted this Cognac jewel and work of art to utmost perfection.

Raymond Bossis is a family-run Cognac house committed to respecting the environment and seeking to make the most of its thriving vineyards. According to Optimus protocol, using traditional technologies and sustainable farming, they work to minimize the impact of pesticides on their grapes and eaux-de-vie. As a member of the Federation of Independent Winegrowers, the house of Raymond Bossis guarantees the involvement of the winemaker at all stages of production: from winemaking, in the cellar, harvesting the grapes and marketing. The estate offers a wide range of products ranging from natural grape juice to Pineau des Charentes, Charentais wines, sparkling wines and Cognacs of varying age categories.

Presentation of the bottle

Displayed in a traditional decanter, its presentation is in keeping with the decades-old liquid gold contained inside. Rather than designing a prestigious decanter for this offering, Maison Raymond Bossis have opted to let Cognac itself do the talking. We think the hand-written label that details the product information offers an authentic touch that encapsulates the true essence of traditional Cognac.

How to enjoy

Such a beautifully aged Cognac should be served traditionally - neat and at room temperature. Pair with a rich cheese platter to enjoy the Cognac as an accompaniment to an aperitif or sip it on its own as a digestive at the end of an indulgent meal.
