Description
Prunier 20 Years Old Grande Champagne Cognac
The Prunier 20 Years Old Grande Champagne Cognac is a limited edition masterpiece, with only 1800 bottles available. This exquisite Cognac, originating from the renowned Grande Champagne area, specifically the village of Salles d’Angles, is crafted from 100% Ugni blanc grapes grown in clay-limestone soil. It has been aged since 1999 in oak casks, with the last four years spent in large oak vats, allowing the alcohol content to be gradually reduced over time.
Stored in cellars located in Gimeux, this Cognac benefits from the natural humidity provided by the adjacent river, creating ideal ambient conditions for aging. The result is a Cognac of exceptional quality, boasting a bright golden color with gold shades.
On the nose, the Prunier 20 Years Old reveals an elegant and refined bouquet, combining finesse, delicacy, and aromatic intensity. Aromas of tea, fresh hazelnut, and fresh orange zest unfold with remarkable precision, creating a vinous and floral profile that is truly captivating.
The palate is equally impressive, with a precise and elegant composition of orange blossom and fine tannins. This Cognac achieves a magnificent balance between the purity of its aromas, freshness, and mouthfeel, which is typical of the Grande Champagne region. The finish is long and well-balanced, leaving a lasting impression of elegance and finesse.
Presentation of the bottle
The front label is tastefully designed, displaying the Prunier logo and the "20 ans d'âge" age statement prominently in gold and red lettering.
The bottle's neck is adorned with a sophisticated gold foil, adding a touch of luxury. The cap is also gold and embossed with the Prunier name, ensuring a secure seal and an attractive finish. The year "1769" is embossed at the base of the bottle, signifying the long-standing tradition and excellence of the Prunier brand. Overall, the bottle's design is a perfect blend of modern elegance and historical significance, making it a standout addition to any collection.
