Eye: Light amber, with bold shadows.

Nose: Dominant notes of wood enhanced by notes of fruit peaches and the floral essence of chamomile.

Description

Cognac Paul Beau XO Vieille Réserve

Boasting a strong grip on the tastebuds, the Cognac Paul Beau XO Vieille Réserve is a high-quality cognac that has been aged for a minimum of 10 years. Typical of the Paul Beau style, it is rich and densely textured, opening with an enticing floral aroma and delving deep into a hold on the mouth. A Cognac from the Grande Champagne area, 1st Cru (growth), its captivating essence is the direct result of its prestigious origins.

Produced by a small artisan producer, with experience dating back to the 19th century, Paul Beau is a name you are going to want to remember. Building a name for offering exceptional Cognacs, at a reasonable price, the XO Vieille Réserve is an excellent example of the house’s expertise. Once you’ve tasted the enticing depth on offer, you will inevitably want to dive even deeper into the Paul Beau collection.

Presentation of the bottle

Typical of the Paul Beau Cognac house, this display is the product of brilliantly styled simplicity. With a clean white label and gold, swirl type it’s a beautiful balance of tradition and modern minimalism. Finished with an artistic presentation box, it would make the perfect gift, feature in a cabinet, or addition to a dining table.

How to enjoy

Savor this Cognac neat to capture the full depth of its essence. Can also be placed on ice, or mixed with a dash of water to allow its floral, fruity aroma to rise to the surface.

About Paul Beau Cognac

The family business was founded in the 19th century by Samuel Beau, Paul's father. It was that the brand was created in 1977 by Guy, Olivier's father.

Today, Olivier represents the 5th generation. He farms 60ha exclusively in Grande Champagne and continues the commercial adventure with Léa, his wife.

Maison Paul Beau has always been based in the heart of Cognac, on the finest land in Grande Champagne. The vineyards are equally divided between Segonzac, Verrières and Roissac.

Olivier runs the "Laurichesse" vineyard in Verrières, as does his father, Guy, his uncle, Yves, and his grandfather, Gaston. In Segonzac, it's his mother's "Petit-Beau" that he is proud to take care of.
