Description
Pasquet L'Organic Folle Blanche L.XIV. Cognac
The Pasquet L'Organic Folle Blanche L.XIV. is a rare Cognac crafted exclusively from the Folle Blanche grape, historically prominent in the 19th century before the phylloxera crisis. Now accounting for less than 1% of the Cognac vineyard, this varietal has been revived by the Pasquet family in the heart of the Grande Champagne. The 2014 vintage, bottled in April 2025, is a 10-year-old Cognac distilled on the lees and made with indigenous yeasts. Production is extremely limited, with only three barrels filled annually.
The result is a distinctive Cognac that showcases bright aromatic intensity. The nose opens with white flowers and fresh fruit notes such as peach and pear, followed by subtle hints of pastry and honey. The palate is energetic yet smooth, with the 48.6% ABV bringing vibrant clarity rather than heat. There's a natural sweetness and creamy mouthfeel that makes each sip memorable. The long, clean finish reveals delicate spices and floral impressions.
Unfiltered and free of additives, this Cognac reflects the pure expression of its grape and terroir. Certified organic and crafted with minimal intervention, it’s a unique find for anyone looking to explore the depth of single-varietal Cognacs from a prestigious growing area.
Presentation of the bottle
The L'Organic Folle Blanche L.X.IV. comes in a refined, minimalistic bottle that reflects its natural and artisanal identity. The label is straightforward, highlighting its organic certification and vintage. A matching carton completes the elegant presentation of this 600-bottle limited edition release.
How to drink
This Cognac is best enjoyed neat to fully appreciate its aromatic complexity and clean structure. For a cooler expression, it may be served slightly chilled. Due to its purity and high ABV, it also suits slow sipping over time, allowing the profile to evolve in the glass.
About Pasquet Cognac
Certified organic Cognac house Pasquet perfectly strikes the balance between the warmth of family tradition and innovative savoir-faire. In order to revive a plot of vines during the 1990s, the Pasquet family reached deep into their ancestral history to rediscover its organic farming methods. It was here that they found a beautiful equilibrium not only in the ecosystem of their vines, but also in the Cognacs themselves. Since being awarded ‘Agriculture Biologique’ status in 1998, they haven’t looked back, continuing to craft small-batch Cognacs that epitomize natural beauty and balance. With versatile ranges such as ‘L’Organic’ and ‘Esprit de la Famille,’ the Pasquet family ensures that every step of production respects the environment, resulting in a very special collection of Cognacs.
