Presentation of the bottle
“The vision of the barrels of cognac travelling around the world to far-flung destinations inspired me.”
The design, entitled The Epic Voyage, illustrates the subsequent journey of the vine and the oak around the world. Expressed through motifs of ships, trains and hot-air balloons and include illustrations of red and gold clouds - a traditional Chinese symbol of good fortune. While the Cognac inside boasts multiple gold medal awards, the stunning decanter designed by Pierre Marie is considered as a work of art in its own right. This limited edition is sure to take centre stage amidst even the most extended of Cognac collections.
How to enjoy
Cordon Bleu is the ideal Cognac for special occasions. Enjoy it neat, with a splash of water or on the rocks. Take slow sips to let the tasting notes do the talking. Savour each mouthful and allow your senses to embark on an experience far beyond the realms of the mundane.

About Martell Cognac
Martell is the oldest of the Big Four Cognac houses. Similar to Rémy Martin, but a few years older still, not long ago did Martell celebrate its 300-year anniversary. The history of Martell & Co dates back to 1715 when Jean Martell founded the company with the wish to produce only the highest quality in Cognac. With the legendary bottles Martell Cordon Bleu, the cuvée Martell Extra L’Or de Jean Martell and the recent Création Grand Extra from 2007, the company strongly implanted itself in the luxury goods market, and are famous for using large amounts of eaux-de-vie from the Borderies terroir. It belongs to Pernod Ricard and has sales of around 15 million liters every year. The most precious eaux-de-vie, some of which date back to 1830, are stored in a secret location in the cellars of Jean Martell - approximately 1.6 million 9-liter cases!
