Description
Jean Fillioux XO Grande Reserve Cognac
This delicious XO Cognac is made entirely with a blend from the highly sought after Grande Champagne region with cru Ugni Blanc grapes. The eaux-de-vie is believed to have aged for more than 30 years. It is a superb selection from a remarkably reputable domain.
Produced by one of the finest products in the industry, Jean Fillious has expert experience in crafting some of the best Cognacs since the 1800s. With a vineyard 63 acres in size, situated entirely within the “golden triangle” of the Grande Champagne cru, the highly fertile land is the secret to undeniable superiority within every creation. Thanks to small production, each bottle is exclusive and the XO is no exception to that.
Presentation of the bottle
A timeless classic, this bottle’s simplicity complements tradition and elegance expertly. With a gold lid and type, it alludes to a royal sense of superiority. Clean and simple its assurance as a renowned creation from a respectable Cognac house is evident at first glance. Housed in a box for a final favourable finish.
How to enjoy
Best enjoyed as a post-dinner tipple and placed on ice to allow the complements of the full palate to be fully savoured.

Yes, that's it!
I like the classic packaging and presentation of the cardboard box, the contents are pretty much the best I have ever ordered from Cognac Expert. As soon as you open the bottle, you are surprised by a variety of flavours that is second to none. In my opinion, a successful combination of stone fruit...
The Fillioux XO Grande Reserve, 30 ~ some year old Grande Champagne, short review :
Balanced. Earthy. Rancio, oak, oak spice. Some leather. Mineralic. Not overly woody. Distinct trace of meatiness. Une touche de fumée. Dry stone fruit, figs, dates, behind the oak. Sweet almonds, faintly. Candied orange peels, lemons, lime, fresh. Grape soda, cola gummies, and the trademark...
Excellent
To my taste this Cognac delivers notes of dried apricot, peaches, orange zest.,nuts, dark chocolate, maple syrup, cinnamon, cedarwood, rancio, tobacco, a lot of oak and I think black tea..i find it extremely drinkable smooth a kind of juice.. Perfect for after a good dinner with a fine cuban cigar!
Really fine - Jean Fillioux XO Grande Reserve Cognac
Tasted from a sample of the Advent Calendar: Beautiful amber colour with golden highlights. Fine nose with dried orange peels and ripe, sweet oranges. On the palate quite a lot of spices, dried bitter-oranges with the full body of well integrated alcohol of 44%. Long spicy finish. Fine XO Cognac...
Hidden gem
Jean Fillioux offers some of the most elegant and harmonic cognacs available today. This cognac was launched not so long ago and has gotten very little attention. I wonder why. This is a beautiful cognac, a bit reserved on the nose, but you find some very nice citrus tones and hints of dried fruit....
