Description
Hennessy XO Exclusive Collection VI
Hennessy XO Exclusive Collection VI is a limited edition that was released in 2012. Produced in the Reed Flute Cave in Guilin, executed by APAX Group China, it is a truly unique Hennessy collector bottle. Those who are fans of Hennessy will inevitably appreciate the brilliance of this creation. The stones and interior of the cave became the natural backdrop for the event. Specially-designed projection effects highlight the magnificent and dazzling essence of the new collector's bottle, together with the natural wonders of the cave.
Embodying the finest traditions of the house, the XO was originally crafted in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy using very old eaux-de-vie. It is blended with more than 100 different types specially selected from the four premier growing areas. Some of the eaux-de-vie used in the blend has been aging in the Hennessy warehouses since the early part of this century. Back when the XO first came on the scene, it was reserved exclusively for family and friends, but today it is a much-loved favorite offering from the house.
Presentation of the bottle
A striking gold decanter, with a unique tear shape bottle, this limited edition certainly captures attention. Made to showcase the natural wonders of a Reed Flute Cave, the attention to detail is a fine art with unique charm. Black and gold convey the traditional brilliance of the XO and the Hennessy heritage expertly. Finished in a bold black and gold gloss presentation box, it’s a superb display down to the final detail. Certainly, one to showcase for all to see.
How to enjoy
As an XO, this is a versatile piece that can be enjoyed in many ways. Try it on its own to savor the classic XO essence, or add ice for an extra punch.
About Hennessy Cognac
You may think, that with Hennessy’s ability to innovate and push boundaries, they are a thoroughly ‘modern’ Cognac brand. This is a large part of their immense success and influence. The very French brand based in the Charente region, in fact, dates all the way back to 1765 - to Ireland - but have managed to shapeshift enough times to remain more relevant than ever before - with current Master Blender Renaud Fillioux. Their range of uber-trendy products is ever expanding, and their marketing campaigns all the more captivating. There is no doubt that ‘Henny’ culture is alive and kicking: both Cognac and a fifth of Hennessy are mentioned in what seems like hundreds of songs.
