Description

Rare and Refined: Hardy XO Rare Tradition Cognac

Hardy XO Rare Cognac is the oldest of their "Tradition" collection, which has seen a huge amount of success thanks to the smoothness of its Cognacs and its accessibility to all Cognac drinkers, from amateurs to connoisseurs.

With its ever-evolving palate and sophisticated, "tenacious" bouquet, this rich and complex Fine Champagne XO is an expertly crafted culmination of flavors that showcase the best that the Petite and Grande Champagne region have to offer.

The Hardy XO Rare Tradition has been painstakingly produced, left to age in hand-selected older casks in order to develop deep and intense flavors.

From its floral bouquet of fresh rose, a characteristic quality of Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie, to its wonderfully deep tobacco aromas (which can only be developed after a lengthy maturation in high quality oak barrels), this XO is truly a celebration of its appellation, a rare and refined expression of the two premiers crus.

It boasts an aromatic persistence unparalleled by others in its age category, but as with all Hardy products, this comes as standard as the quality and craftsmanship of this esteemed house is present in every Cognac they produce, pure perfection bottled in a beautiful decanter.

Founded in 1863, the House of Hardy has made a name for itself with its audacious and recognizable style, both in their presentation and on the palate. Hardy Cognacs tend to be refined, round and offer an intense and distinguished bouquet, meaning any drinker can identify the flavors they produce.

One of the first Cognac houses to introduce a worldwide distribution network, Hardy has sold across all four corners of the globe and is particularly popular in Asia and the US. It's no surprise that the XO Rare Tradition took home Silver at the esteemed Ultimate Spirits Challenge back in 2015.

How to Enjoy:

This exquisite XO would make a delightful digestif to finish off a dinner party, its floral bouquet would pair well with a citrus-based dessert, or its tobacco elements would add an extra dimension when sipped alongside a freshly-brewed cup of Arabica-bean coffee.

Presentation of the Bottle:

The clean, square design perfectly frames the amber-colored Cognac housed within it, the classic Hardy cockerel is beautifully embossed onto the body of the bottle, with golden detailing asserting its position as an elegant and exceptional product. The Cognac equally comes with a black and gold case for storage, gifting or display purposes.

About Hardy Cognac

With a history dating back to 1863, Cognac Hardy is well known for quality cognacs and traditional production methods. Passed down throughout the generations, this family house of cognac, which can be recognized by its rooster logo, was one of the very first to embrace the spoils of a worldwide distribution network. Thanks to the love of an entrepreneurial Englishman for the French Charentaise countryside, Cognac Hardy boasts a 150 year history of providing a range of cognacs to the four corners of the globe.
