Description

Guy Pinard & Fils XO Carafe Cognac

Guy Pinard & Fils XO Carafe Cognac was made exclusively from batches of eaux-de-vie distilled by the Pinard Cognacs. Since then, it has been aged exclusively in oak barrels in their cellars. Revealing complex fragrances including notes of wood, liquorice, honey and spices, this silky Cognac leaves a lasting impression with exceptional length in the mouth which lingers long after tasting.

Offering a selection of products, from Cognac and Pineau des Charentes to wine and grape juice, the house of Guy Pinard & Fils have been organic farming since 1969. A key landmark within the world of Cognac tourism, Guy Pinard & Fils invites Cognac lovers to discover their estate all year round.

Presentation of the bottle

Dressed in an elegant carafe, Guy Pinards & Fils XO is somewhat ressemblant of a luxurious perfume bottle. Floral swirls grace the front of the bottle in gold and inflict an even further touch of elegance to the already opulent carafe design. Inside the Cognac itself catches the eye with its deep amber color, characteristic of its mature age. The perfect gift for someone who appreciates fine aesthetics and, of course, decent Cognac.

How to enjoy

Guy Pinard & Fils XO is best enjoyed as an after-dinner tipple in a digestive course or as an aperitif amongst guests. Its rich and spicy notes pair perfectly with a velvety dark chocolate dessert or alongside a fine cigar after eating. It should be consumed neat, at a temperature of around 25°C and ideally from a tulip glass which allows the Cognac to reveal all its complexity.
