Description
Guiet‑Petit XO Grande Champagne Cognac
The Guiet‑Petit XO is a distinguished expression from the estate at Verrières in the heart of the Grande Champagne cru. This XO release, bottled at 42 % ABV in a 700 ml format, blends mature eaux‑de‑vie (circa twenty‑five years) to present a deep amber spirit with both breadth and refinement.
Presentation of the bottle
The bottle is robust and stately, with broad shoulders tapering into a solid, clear base. A deep red label with gilt text occupies its front, naming “XO Guiet” and “Cognac Grande Fine Champagne.” The neck bears a matching red band with “XO,” framed by gold trim. The wide glass stopper (or collar) gives an impression of weight and permanence, befitting the age and gravitas of the cognac it contains.
How to drink
Enjoy the Guiet‑Petit XO neat in a tulip or cognac glass at cellar or slightly below room temperature (16‑20 °C) to reveal its full aromatic range. It can also be served with a single drop of spring water (if needed) to coax forward secondary notes, though it is already well balanced at its proof. This is a contemplative cognac—best suited to slow sipping rather than mixing.
