This XO from the house of De Luze is about 20 years old, with the oldest cognac in the blend from the Boinaud Estate harvest of 1980. In early 2011, the packaging of the bottle got a heavy redesign.

Fine Champagne with the intensity of the dried fruit and it's complex spiciness can be explored with a sample of walnuts, dried apricots and prunes. Richness of dried fruits on the palate, length in mouth is about 10 minutes.
So this is a classic in my pov: fantastic XO for a very solid price I must say. The nose is very rich, the palate and the aftertaste unique and very balanced. Great work by Boinaud.
I learned they have solved the problem with the stopper they used to have. The design and packaging really is great, fantastic decanter, very valuable. I can totally recommend!
I really like this extra old by Deluz... mixes grand champagne with petit champagne and it's sooo balanced. Great taste..
