Daniel Bouju XO N° 27 Cognac
Daniel Bouju XO N° 27 is a single estate Cognac, produced using eaux-de-vie solely from the premier growing region of Grande Champagne and aged for 15 years.
This exquisite Cognac, full of rich aromas that will indulge your senses, is produced by the world renowned artisanal Cognac house of Daniel Bouju. The House is situated in Charente in the Grande Champagne region where it harvests, distills and ages its Cognacs exclusively on the estate.
Daniel Bouju XO N° 27 is aged in new Limousin oak barrels before being transferred to used casks to complete its maturation. This process is what gives the Cognac its strong aromatic scent, dark rich colour and soft taste.
Daniel Bouju’s artisan Cognacs can be found in over 40 countries across the globe. The family-owned Cognac House was first established in 1805 and its traditional methods of craftsmanship and strict standards have been maintained by subsequent generations. As both the grower and the distiller, Daniel Bouju retains complete control of the production process and handles every step from the vineyard to the bottle.
Presentation of the bottle:
Daniel Bouju XO N° 27 Cognac comes in a tall, angular decanter which is presented in a varnished oak wood box of a regal forest green colour.
How to enjoy:
A Cognac of this age should be enjoyed neat so that the delicious array of aromas and flavors can appreciated without interruption.
Sometimes, a casual evening with a cool autumn breeze, a glass of cognac and the enigmatic aroma of wine can be truly delightful.
Opening this bottle of cognac is not an easy task.
After ten minutes of tossing and turning, the fascinating aroma of the cognac after opening the bottle made everyone so eagerly anticipate the aroma of meat and tofu, cloves, and cinnamon swirling around the nose, an unforgettable surprise.
Can't wait to try a sip of the cognac in the glass, with plum and fruit and floral aromas presenting themselves on the tongue, followed by a rounded honey and barrel finish that continues on and on.
Fun in a glass indeed, with a food adjustment with a piece of cake and a solid night's sleep.
Thanks for the pleasure of cognac-expert!
