Croizet XO Chic Cognac
Croizet XO Chic Grande Champagne Cognac is one of the “Chic Collection”, created by Maison Croizet’s cellar master to celebrate the history of the Cognac industry that has remained strong century after century. Made up eaux-de-vie from the Premier Cru: Grande Champagne, this XO has spent at least 10 years aging in old oak barrels. Upon tasting, complex fruity flavors including prune, ganache and cherry, contrast delicately with notes of cinnamon and spices. A well-matured Cognac of great finesse and complexity.
With a story that can be traced back to links with Napoleon, Cognac Croizet boasts over 200 years of history. Located in the heart of Grande Champagne country, the brand produces an exceptional range of first class Cognacs. Today the house of Croizet is no longer owned by the founding family, however tradition, savoir-faire and artisanal craftsmanship is still very much at the forefront of what makes this Cognac house so special. Meanwhile, the new owners are adopting a modern take to Cognac production with a strong focus on innovation.
Presentation of the bottle
XO Chic Cognac is as stylish and chic as its name suggests. Contained in a curvaceous carafe, the golden nectar inside draws the eye closer to the intricate details of the label design on both the front and the neck of the bottle. The use of silver and gold ties the presentation together elegantly, while a stunning golden bottle cap appears to be symbolic of a crown. A Cognac for those who lavish luxurious aesthetics.
How to enjoy
This XO is recommended to be served as a digestif, alone or with ice. It pairs deliciously with fish or shellfish.
