Braastad XO Superior Contemporary Art: Act One The Angel's Share is a specially designed limited edition bottle containing Braastad's XO Superior Cognac. The concept of Braastad XO Contemporary Art is to challenge Nordic artists to create a visual expression of what inspires them from the world of cognac. Act One – The Angels Share – is signed by the Norwegian Art Photographer, Per Heimly, one of Norway’s most recognized photographers with a long track record in fashion and commercial works.
The cognac within this wonderful bottle is one created by Master Blender, Richard Braastad. A complex blend, Richard handpicked very old cognacs from four of the six terroirs of Cognac. It is thanks to this meticulous processing that this XO boasts an essence that is very rich and powerful, yet harmonic and balanced. Rightfully recognised for its efforts, the XO Superior first entered the International Wine and Spirit Competition in London 2007, and Master Blender Richard Braastad was proud to receive the silver medal.
Boldly branded with black and gold styling, the strength of this Cognac is evident at first glance. Presented with the Braastad logo and signed by Per Heimly, the collaboration behind this Cognac’s expertise is celebrated beautifully. Rubbing shoulders with other famous Cognac houses such as Bisquit or Courvoisier, the brand Braastad was created when a Norwegian named Sverre Braastad married into the Tiffon family.
Known for their devotion to the traditional Cognac producing methods, today the whole process is still carried out at the family premises, and Cognac Braastad’s products are renowned worldwide.
