Tasting review by Michel Forgeron Cognac:
Eye: A wonderful deep color with golden reflections and flashes of brightness
Nose: Notes of leather and spices, curry, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, coffee, pastry, candied fruit
Palate: caramelized notes, delicate rancio
Tasting notes by Andreas Larson (Best Sommelier 2007): "A very nice body on the nose, rather light and elegant, some nuts, some brown sugar, and black chocolate. On the palate a good depth, balanced, a very long after taste."
