Description

A.E. Dor XO Hors d'Age no 8 Cognac

An old Cognac from AE Dor's Vieille Reserve range, this is a special choice thanks to its limited number of releases. Its delectable blend of eaux-de-vie is sourced from one of the regions most prestigious regions; Grande Champagne. Long-aged, the finish is surprisingly light and fresh considering its ageing process.

Spending many years in Tierçons, the traditional casks of Limousin oak whose proportions are ideal to allow Cognac to mature perfectly, the process behind its distinctive, yet classic flavour becomes clear. A credit to the 200-year process that has barely undergone any changes since founded in 1858, by Amédée-Edouard Dor, this is a truly timeless Cognac.

Presentation of the bottle

Spectacularly stamped with tradition, this bottle is instantly recognisable as a classic A.E. Dor. Its age and expertise are clear in its simple, yet eye-catching design. Stamped with the memorable branding, the type and box demonstrate the sophistication that is expected with a Cognac of such an impressive age.

How to enjoy

Due to its unique flavour that has taken years to be brought to life, this Cognac is best enjoyed on its own to let the eaux-de-vie fully sink in. Add a dash of water to allow the flavours to truly come into their own.
