The Alfred Giraud Voyage Whiskey is a double malt, that blends two single malts - one boasting fruity notes and the other injecting hints of grain to the melange of flavors. Each is matured in barrels with bold characteristics, new French robinia & Sauternes casks. The cellar-master at the house of Giraud has reached the perfect balance by blending the two spirits prior to the final stage of the aging process, which takes place in Cognac casks. Quantity is limited with only one cask selected in 2020, therefore all bottles are individually numbered, emphasising this double malt’s exclusivity. Voyage Whiskey is the first of Maison Alfred Giraud’s “Exploratory Collection” and was driven by the brands desire to create inventive, balanced flavors while highlighting the unique tastes of France.
