In the UK, the name Waitrose is synonymous with high quality produce, and their Waitrose Cognac VSOP is no different. Using only the finest selection of eaux-de-vie from across the Cognac region, this Cognac is left to age in traditional Limousin and troncais oak barrels before being bottled.

All of the grapes used in the eaux-de-vie are sourced from Charente’s leading growers’ cooperative, producing sweet and fruity flavors that render this VSOP an excellent choice for a delectable digestif.

This Cognac has a particularly sweet flavor profile, with notes of caramelized fruit and Madagascan vanilla. Its finish of fudge and sweet spices make it the perfect post-dinner treat, an elegant amalgamation of eaux-de-vie from various growing regions in Cognac.

How to Serve

This light and sweet Cognac is the perfect spirit to be mixed with cola.

Its caramelized notes also complement perfectly with the citrusy elements of a classic Sidecar cocktail.

Sidecar

• 1 ½ oz. Waitrose VSOP
• ¾ oz. Triple sec
• ¾ oz. Freshly squeezed lemon juice

Rim a martini or coupe glass with sugar before mixing the ingredients and serving chilled.
