Description
A VSOP Cognac with eaux-de-vie from the Fins Bois
Exploding with hints of white fruit and a liquorice finish, this Vaudon VSOP Cognac is a wonderful bottle crafted by Pierre Vaudon, Cellar Master of Francois Voyer. Matured in French oak barrels for a minimum of four years, the result is a sweet and delicate Cognac with notes of honey and salted caramel.
He has since created his very own bottle straight from his own vineyard, hence the Vaudon Cognac brand. Located in Echallat, he has 60 hectares of vineyards from both the Grande Champagne and Fins Bois Cru.
How to serve the Vaudon VSOP
Enjoy this vibrant offering neat, on the rocks or as the base component of your favorite cocktail.
Presentation of the bottle
The Vaudon VSOP is presented in a classic slim-neck bottle and will take pride of place in your collection. A fabulous offering to those new to the world of Cognac due to its deliciously sweet-tasting profile.
About Vaudon Cognac
The Vaudon grounds are composed of 60 hectares with the main estate being located in Fins Bois, the largest of all the Cognac growth regions. Vaudon produces both single cru Fins Bois Cognacs and ‘multicru’ blends of these with the neighbouring Grande Champagne.
Pierre Vaudon, Maître de Chai and also owner of Maison Francois Voyer, is responsible for the Vaudon family estate. The family’s distilling origins can be traced back as far as 1771, and they have always produced outstanding Cognacs, even winning a gold medal for their 1811 vintage Cognac in 1913.
