Description

Remi Landier Sélection Fins Bois Cognac

A blend of Fins Bois eaux-de-vie, Rémi Landier Sélection has been aged for an average of at least 5 years in French oak barrels. It is the result of a skilful blend of mostly young Ugni Blanc grapes that have been combined with old Cognacs for enhancement. A harmonious marriage of both fruity and spicy nuances, that is marked by notes of pressed grapes and sweet spices.

Remi Landier and his sons set up their family-run Cognac brand in 1973, upon realizing the uniqueness of the Fins Bois terroir and the eaux-de-vie that it produces. As distillers for some of Cognac’s largest trading houses, they only produce a small quantity under their own label which is today fronted by Jean-Yves Landier and his daughter Geraldine, the fourth and fifth generation of producers. Offering a full range of Cognacs from VS to XO as well as rare and limited editions, this tight-knit business not only renders the use of quality and expertise when it comes to Cognac but the brand’s Pineau des Charentes also benefits from an excellent reputation.

Presentation of the bottle

Dressed in a uniquely shaped decanter, this Cognac reveals its identity as fun and characterful Cognac from the very first glance. With its striking gold yellow color being the first to catch your eye, you’ll then notice the beautifully intricate design work on the label and neck of the bottle. Its classic demeanour, with clean contemporary lines, make for an elegantly presented Cognac that is sure to add style and sophistication to any spirit’s collection.

How to enjoy

A youthful and vibrant Cognac, this Selection Cognac can be enjoyed in a variety of different ways. We recommend pouring it over ice and then topping it up with tonic water for a refreshing Cognac spritz.
