Eye: Golden amber.

Nose: Rich oak notes melting into a sweet vanilla scent. Florals slowly appear: dried pinks and carnation.

Palate: Preserved fruits, including apricot jam and orange marmalade. Port and hazelnut notes lend a sense of luxury, leading into a finish lasting for several minutes.

Description

Prulho Eclat VSOP Cognac: Fine Champagne Perfection

This rich blend features a combination of eaux-de-vie from the two most famous production areas of the Cognac region: Grande and Petite Champagne; the blending of these eaux-de-vie deserves the prestigious controlled appellation Fine Champagne Cognac. Prulho Eclat VSOP Cognac has been aged in French oak sourced from the Limousin forest for at least four years before being bottled, giving it an extraordinary complex nose and palate, bursting with notes of sweet fruit and vanilla.

Second-generation owner, Robert Prulho, and his son Richard have dedicated their lives to pursuing their passion for excellent Cognac. Their hard work has certainly paid off, walking away with numerous awards, including gold medals from the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and the Citadelles du Vins. Without a doubt, they benefit from their in-depth knowledge of distilling equipment - they come from a family of stillmakers whose copper stills are used by Cognac producers all over the region.

With the knowledge that has accumulated over generations about the importance of perfect distillation, the ripening process and flawless blending, the Prulho family are sure to continue going from strength to strength.
