Description
Park VSOP Cognac: the Power of Three
Combining the fruits of three distinct terroirs, the Park VSOP Cognac is a unique expression of the art of blending. Using only Ugni Blanc grapes, this expression is composed of 40% Fins Bois, 40% Petite Champagne and 20% Grande Champagne. The aim was to create a VSOP that could seamlessly move between elegant florals, rich fruits and a creamy mouthfeel, hand-crafted in small batches for precision. Aged for a minimum of four years, the Park VSOP has been matured in lightly-toasted new oak barrels as well as older casks. The result is a versatile, well-rounded Cognac that any connoisseur would be happy to own.
Park Cognacs are produced by a family-owned company that can be traced back to the year 1880, when Gaston Tessendier, a mathematics teacher, acquired a vineyard in the Cognac region. Tending to the vines himself, he was such a successful part-time winemaker that he expanded his area and eventually built a distillery to produce wines and Cognac. Over time, the company became one of the largest bulk suppliers in the whole region, and still remains in the family to this day.
In the capable hands of brothers Jerome and Lilian Tessendier, these fourth-generation distillers decided in 2005 that it was time for Tessendier to not only provide Cognac to other suppliers, but to bottle their own range. Since then, six brands have been created, including Cognac Park. All Park Cognacs are produced from grapes that are free from chemicals and pesticides, creating high-quality, unadulterated eaux-de-vie at a low price. The idea of Cognac Park is to produce delicious Cognacs affordable to all, focusing on the liquid inside the bottle rather than fussy marketing - and their achievements certainly speak for themselves!

Presentation of the Bottle
Simple and elegant, the bottle shape and label are reminiscent of vintage bottlings, a nod to the past with its calligraphy lettering and silver foil. Of course, a gift box completes the package.
How to Enjoy Park VSOP Cognac
This VSOP is an extremely versatile blend, one that can be enjoyed neat or in a mixed drink. When drinking it neat, pout into a tulip glass and allow the spirit to rest for several minutes before taking a sip, to allow the full aromas to develop. If you’re looking to mix up a cocktail, we recommend you try the Maple Old Fashioned:
- 60ml Park VSOP Cognac
- 10ml Maple Syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Combine all ingredients in a glass half-filled with ice. Stir with a mixing spoon for about 30 seconds, adding more ice as needed. Garnish with orange zest and/or a slice of ginger.
