Description

Park Borderies Mizunara Aged 4 years Box Set Cognac

The Park Borderies Mizunara Aged 4 years Cognac is one of the series world firsts, due to its innovative aging process, which allows the eaux-de-vie to spend 4 years in Japanese Mizunara Oak barrels. The award-winning, Park Borderies Mizunara offers a unique alliance between its nature as a single cru Borderies delight and the Mizunara oak that the eaux-de-vie have been aged within. A 100% Borderies Cognac made up of the most exclusive eaux-de-vie of the 6 growing areas of the Cognac regions; Mizunara is a rare variety of Japanese oak, used for the production of casks destined for the ageing of premium Japanese spirits. This Cognac offers a fine blend of eaux-de-vie that is round, floral and smooth - characterised by delicate hints of violet.

Cognac Park has well and truly accomplished with their pioneering Park Mizunara Japanese Oak Cognac, as it stands proud as a French Cognac with a real Japanese twist. It's definitely one that appeals to those who enjoy Japanese whisky. Not only will it appeal to the whisky palate, as well as the Cognac, but this innovative Cognac is one that collectors will want to add to their collection too.

Mizunara is the brainchild of brothers Jerome and Lilian Tessendier who are the current generation in charge of Park Cognac today. Showcasing their highly-skilled knowledge and craftsmanship, the talented Master Blenders have poured their heart and soul into creating a Cognac with a real twist. Not only does it taste wonderful, but it's also a real talking point as well, making it a must-have addition to any liquor collection.

Presentation of the bottle

The bottle and packaging is contemporary and stylish, drawing focus towards the Japanese element of the Cognac. It presents simple white and red labelling, that combines perfectly with a chic black and white seal. The Japanese typography is beautifully complemented by the Cognac Park logo, and as the title suggests; this Park Borderies Mizunara arrives as a set, with it’s very own tasting glass. Making this Cognac a truly inventive gift for somebody who enjoys fine and contemporary Cognac.

How to Enjoy

For those that enjoy Japanese whisky, this is the perfect meeting point between two fine spirits. Enjoy in a group degustation and appreciate together how the unique patchwork of flavors unfold. After the first taste, leave it to sit in the glass for a while. A few minutes later, let the Cognac rest under your nose, take in the aromas and fully understand its truly revolutionary multitude, depth and complexity.
