Tasting review by Logis de Montifaud:

Its amber colour has fire-red tints from tannins, wood, and copper.

Spicy nose, lively, and subtle flavor. The palate is fruity, spicy, and woody.

The taste lingers in the mouth.

Description

Representing fantastic value, the Logis de Montifaud VSOP Cognac is a delightful offering from this small, artisan house.  When it comes to versatile spirits, this VSOP has to be one that's right up there...  The quality is such that it can be enjoyed neat - and makes a wonderful digestif.  But in addition, you can enjoy the sense sensation in so many other ways...

For example, try it with a mixer to create a long drink for a hot summers day.  Or perhaps as an ingredient in your favorite cocktail.  Or even over ice, to release the further aromas and taste tingling sensations that occur when cognac meets ice.  However you drink it, enjoy.  This cognac deserves it's place in anyones drink cabinet.
