Description
Hennessy Fine de Cognac Limited Edition The Fine Mix Pack is a great take on their regular Fine de Cognac, and is certainly turning heads for both taste and design. It's the bottle and packaging that's the limited edition, so definitely one that collectors will be eager to get their hands on. And as the name suggests, this is the perfect Cognac for creating your favourite mix drinks or cocktails.
A VSOP quality, it's a blend of eaux-de-vie that Hennessy are specifically targeting at the younger, experimental generation. It offers both great quality and value for money, and being packaged in a decanteresque bottle makes it look great on a home bar or to take to a party. The bottle is a similar shape to that of the traditional Fine de Cognac, however a metallic stock is used with offset diamond panelling. It is this detail that perfectly complements the orange trademark colour of the original while giving it a stylish and contemporary twist.
It is an updated take on the regular edition, and is a result of Hennessy’s digital campaign launched entitled '#thefinemix', in which consumers were invited to share their ‘fine mix’ lifestyles on Instagram. The designers, ButterflyCannon, are a London-based design agency who created the cutting edge reinvention of the ‘fine à l’eau’ tradition. The design was based on a brief to combine digital ‘Instagrammable’ cognac for a premium brand.
It's a very versatile Cognac; certainly great in a cocktail or with a mixer. It's also delicious over ice (or why not try straight from the freezer), yet has enough age and smoothness to enjoy neat, warmed in the hand, in the time-honoured traditional manner.

About Hennessy Cognac
You may think, that with Hennessy’s ability to innovate and push boundaries, they are a thoroughly ‘modern’ Cognac brand. This is a large part of their immense success and influence. The very French brand based in the Charente region, in fact, dates all the way back to 1765 - to Ireland - but have managed to shapeshift enough times to remain more relevant than ever before - with current Master Blender Renaud Fillioux. Their range of uber-trendy products is ever expanding, and their marketing campaigns all the more captivating. There is no doubt that ‘Henny’ culture is alive and kicking: both Cognac and a fifth of Hennessy are mentioned in what seems like hundreds of songs.
