Eye: Amber liquid.
Nose: Aromas of ripe apricot, pear, and vanilla.
Palate: It has a certain character thanks to the American oak, with light tropical flavours of coconut, caramel, and chocolate on the palate.
Is this VSOP elegant? Yes. The Cognac Camus VSOP has a contemporary, modern look and taste. Rather easy to consume, suggested as a cocktail mixer. On the nose: round notes of fruits, some almond aromas. On the palate: Fresh, light wood and a rather smooth finish.
Tasting review by Raymond Ragnaud:
On the nose aromas of yellow fruits and flowers, yellow peaches, melon and tobacco. On the palate it's a sweet, sweet taste - vegetable grape skin notes, clove, final on spices and a very ligther musky note. An exceptional soft hints of vanilla.
