GrapeDiggaz VSOP Cognac
Growth area & soil: Blend
The VSOP Cognac from GrapeDiggaz shows at 46.3% vol. a fruity top note reminiscent of young Highland Malt. It harmoniously combines fresh green apples, pears and grapes with malt and honey. The 4 to 10 year old VSOP is also an assemblage of different crus, with the Bons Bois setting the tone.
Enjoy the GrapeDiggaz Cognacs neat or in cocktails. Both - the GrapeDiggaz XO and this VSOP - are each bottled in small batches of 500 liters.
Kirsch Import and the Wu DRAM Clan both have a great track record when it comes to uncovering and collecting liquid treasures. Despite only being founded around three years ago, the international trio have already unearthed a whole range of uncompromisingly high-quality bottlings from renowned distilleries. Just over a year ago, Kirsch Import and the Clan pooled their resources for a shared passion - one that relies on grapes rather than barley, namely brandy, particularly Cognac and Armagnac.
Under the name 'GrapeDiggaz', the independent bottler is dedicated entirely to the grape, uncovering the treasures of the world's brandy regions for whisky fans and more. In doing so, their divining rods are aimed at 100% transparency and additive-free bottlings, as well as an attractive offer for retailers. Alongside distillates of the highest quality, quantity and an excellent price-performance ratio are also driving forces in the treasure hunt.
