Description
The famous Jay Z Cognac liquor in a Cross of Lorraine decanter
D'USSÉ is the epitome of contemporary and tradition coming together in a cutting edge way. The uber-trendy D'USSÉ VSOP Cognac is the first of the D'USSÉ line, and Master Blender Michel Casavecchia weaves his magic by selecting only the finest eaux-de-vie aged for at least 4 and a half years in the dark cellars of the iconic Chateau de Cognac in France, which is also home to the historic Baron Otard producers.
A full bodied, warming blend that refreshes and arouses the palate, in a symbolic decanter that is the perfect collector’s item. Distinctively smooth.
The D'USSÉ VSOP Decanter
The two-barred cross decanter is both cutting edge and wonderfully rustic. With a simple cork and no label on the cork... it is somewhat regal; an interesting mix of medieval, bourgeois and somehow a bit rough. The bottle is dome-shaped, with a coppery gold metallic Cross of Lorraine etched into it.
The design gives an indication of the extensive history of Cognac blending knowledge at D'USSÉ, and the design is a subtle nod towards the forward-thinking element of the brand. Bottled at 40% ABV.
Note: The D'Usse Cognac VSOP with Glitter Design contains the same Cognac as the D'Usse VSOP Cognac. The only difference is the Glitter design.
How to serve the D'USSÉ VSOP
Inviting cocktail recipes that go perfectly with the D'USSÉ VSOP include pineapple and amaretto over ice, with lemonade or with a red martini and walnut bitters. It also drinks beautifully from a snifter neat or over ice.

AlegK Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful cognac
I bought this brandy in North Chicago, Illinos. Only $38 at Costco stores. For this magical drink, it's just for nothing! In other places I saw for $50 and above. The design of the bottle is attractively memorable, but this is not what made me buy this cognac. Reviews of my friends and acquaintances...
stunning in every way
The bottle just makes you want to drink it from the moment you look at it. The cognac is dark rich and clear and looks like a wonderful cognac ultra-clear consume. the mouth fil lingers and coats your mouth a smooth woody cinnamon heaven that will have you trying to resist another and another worth...
Dusse vsop,my first experience.
The nose has a flowery hint with perhaps almonds.Sweet and carries through to the finish. The palate is excellent, nothing overpowering with the nose caring through. Aftertaste; nothing, very clean, excellent balance, top shelf! Very smooth well worth the price

It was the bottle that caught my fascination. 5/5 for the design with the beautiful rounded shape and the croix de Lorraine on it in metal. It's so rustique and elegant at the same time. I was pleasantly surprises by the cognac itself, though. It has a rounded, but slightly fiery and complex taste,...
