Description
Dixneuf Pere et Fils VSOP Cognac
The Dixneuf Pere et Fils VSOP Cognac is a delightful blend created from the lesser-known terroir of Bons Bois. A perfect balance of subtle and complex flavours, it's an incredibly versatile choice. Truly timeless, its exceptional value for money makes it a Cognac that can be appreciated by all.
Born from an estate, run by Régis Forey who, since the 1980s, has impressively extended its vineyard to encompass over 9 hectares (22 acres). Boasting excellent biodiversity, the entire grape harvest is aged in oak barrels like no other. Admirably, Forey Père et Fils ages its grand and premier cru wines in 80-100 percent new oak barrels, which is impressive compared to its village-level offerings only containing 10-30 percent new oak. It is this monumental detail that creates a Cognac collection that stands out from the rest.
Presentation of the bottle
The exclusivity of this Cognac is evident at first glance thanks to a traditional choice of the bottle design. With a label that is both classic and contemporary, the variance of the Dixneuf Pere et Fils VSOP Cognac is purposefully evident. Using a bold choice of red type, the soft amber hues of the contents are complemented beautifully.
How to enjoy
Due to the subtle depth of the Cognac, it lends itself well to being enjoyed on its own, or as a digestif. A seemingly refreshing choice, it also complements your favourite mixer to create a long-drink that quenches thirst deliciously.
