Description
Claude Thorin V.O. Grande Champagne 1er Cru Cognac
Claude Thorin V.O. Grande Champagne 1er Cru Cognac is a blend of eaux-de-vie solely from the premier cru of Grande Champagne. As a VSOP quality Cognac it has been aged for a minimum of four years in oak barrels, which is where it develops its fullness in the mouth.
Claude Thorin has managed the family run Cognac House since the 1990’s, carrying on the work of his father André Thorin who founded the company in 1950. The Claude Thorin vineyard is located in the premium terroir of Grande Champagne. The excellent climate and soil with a high chalk content produces eaux-de-vie that is both delicate and refined.
Presentation of the bottle:
A smart and wide based decanter with a heavy metal stopper, this is a bottle that demands its contents be taken seriously. The burgundy red colour and gold stylised font sit regally against the liquid mahogany backdrop of the Cognac.
