Description
An organic Cognac that is great value for money
The Brard Blanchard Sélection Cognac is produced every winter. The white wines of the Ugni Blanc grapes harvested by hand in the autumn are distilled into eaux-de-vie and are stored for 5 years in Limousin oak barrels. The aging process takes place in old, dark and damp cellars.
The Cognac is then given the time to transform its lively, fruity aromas into more subtle, rounder, gentler scents in contact with the wood. Overall, the Brard Blanchard Sélection Cognac is full of fruity, powerful notes, has a lively but never unpleasant burn and finishes off with a round and soft body after it has been exposed to the air.
How to serve
The Cognac is best enjoyed as a digestif, but can also be enjoyed as an aperitif with a splash of water or ice cubes.
Presentation of the decanter
The Cognac comes in a sleek and slim bottle that is nothing short of class and subtle sophistication.
Heritage of Brard Blanchard
The family of the Domaine Brard Blanchard have worked on the vineyard for almost four generations. Beginning their quest for the highest quality of Cognac in 1972 with polyculture, vines, and dairy but it was only in 1976 when they focused all of their efforts into viticulture and marketing. The vines are all grown organically and manually harvest for every product. The estate is located on the southern slopes that border the Charente.
