Description
Braastad Organic VSOP Cognac: Floral and Fruity with a Fabulous Finish.
This VSOP expression from Braastad has been cultivated using 100% organically-grown Ugni Blanc grapes, harvested from the Grande and Petite Champagne, Fins Bois and Bons Bois terroirs. Winner of the Silver award at the International Wine and Spirit Competition in 2013, this particular blend represents outstanding value for money for an organic VSOP. Aged in traditional Limousin oak casks for a minimum of four years, the Braastad Organic VSOP Cognac shows a sweet and delicate balance of floral notes with hints of musk and fruit.
Presentation of the Bottle
This 700ml bottle design is classic and understated, with an unusual square base and body on the bottle. The muted copper colors on the label complement and lift the Cognac's deep mahogany tones. The bottle also features a plastic-topped wooden stopper.
How to Enjoy
As an organic Cognac, this has an average storage period of around 8 to 10 years - it is not a Cognac to collect, but rather one to enjoy and appreciate with friends and family. Its subtle floral notes and sweet vanilla flavors would pair well with a citrus-based dessert, adding an extra dimension to your next dinner party.

About Braastad Cognac
In the heart of Grande Champagne in the village of Jarnac lies the impressive Chateau de Triac. The chateau is the home of Cognac Tiffon, to which the Cognac brand Braastad belongs.
Rubbing shoulders with other famous Cognac houses such as Bisquit or Courvoisier, the brand Braastad was created when a Norwegian named Sverre Braastad married into the Tiffon family.
Known for their devotion to the traditional Cognac producing methods, today the whole process is still carried out at the family premises, and Cognac Braastad’s products are renowned worldwide.
