Eye: Dark, copper red.

Nose: A floral aroma introduces more mature notes of tobacco and leather.

Palate: A rich, sweet and fruity palate with delightful tastes of liquorice and aniseed combined with baked apple and honey. The finish is perfect balanced, with creamy texture and a long pleasant aftertaste.

Braastad My Selection

Braastad My Selection is a VSOP quality Cognac created using a blend of 45 different eaux-de-vie from a range of terroirs and handpicked from Master Blender, Richard Braastad’s private cellars. This spirit combines the fruity flavors found in young Cognac with the maturity and richness that comes with an older aged Cognac, giving it a perfect balance.

The Braastad brand is produced by the Cognac House Tiffon, it was first established in 1913 when Sverre Braastad from Norway married Edith Rousseau, the daughter of Médéric Rousseau and founder of Tiffon. The home of both Braastad and Tiffon is Château de Triac, situated in the Petite Champagne cru of Cognac area.

Award:

Braastad My Selection received a gold medal at the International Wine and Spirit competition in 2013.

About Braastad Cognac

In the heart of Grande Champagne in the village of Jarnac lies the impressive Chateau de Triac. The chateau is the home of Cognac Tiffon, to which the Cognac brand Braastad belongs.

Rubbing shoulders with other famous Cognac houses such as Bisquit or Courvoisier, the brand Braastad was created when a Norwegian named Sverre Braastad married into the Tiffon family.

Known for their devotion to the traditional Cognac producing methods, today the whole process is still carried out at the family premises, and Cognac Braastad’s products are renowned worldwide.
