A Rare Glimpse of Youth: Cognac VSOP by A de Fussigny
A relatively youthful product atypical of Fussigny, this Grande Champagne VSOP Cognac is from the prestigious Grande Champagne growing region, known as the premier cru for Cognac, delivering some of the best flavors and most popular Cognacs.
Located on the banks of the Charente river, this estate's distillery and cellars date back to 1814, rich in a history of “gabarres” passing by on barges, transporting and trading the precious eaux-de-vie and wine that have made this region so famous. Their more than 200-year-old cellars allow the ageing process to take place in a humid environment, offering a unique and high quality to Fussigny’s produce.
For a VSOP Fussigny has managed to create a extraordinary range of flavors thanks to the rich soils on the estate, offering aromas of orange peel, prune, licorice and chocolate, an exotic punch of lime and coconut with warming notes of vanilla and tea.
