Description

Prunier V.S. Cognac

The Prunier V.S. Cognac is a testament to the art of crafting young and vibrant spirits. Originating from the renowned Petite Champagne area and specifically the village of Réaux-Sur-Trèfle, this Cognac is made from 100% Ugni blanc grapes grown in deep and complex clay-limestone soil. Distilled in 2020, it has been aged for 3 to 4 years in 400-liter oak barrels, benefiting from the ideal ambient conditions of Prunier's cellars in Gimeux, where the natural humidity provided by the adjacent river enhances its aging potential.

On the nose, the Prunier V.S. Cognac presents a structured and precise bouquet with aromas of honey (mead), tea leaf, and orange peel. This beautiful balance combines finesse and power, setting the stage for a delightful tasting experience. The palate is full-bodied and fruity, developing natural roundness, beautiful substance, and refined tannins. The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering notes of fruit and refined tannins, showcasing exceptional aromatic precision.

Presentation of the bottle

The Prunier V.S. Cognac is presented in an elegant and modern bottle that reflects its premium quality. The bright pale gold hue of the Cognac is visible through the clear glass, emphasizing its youthful vibrancy.

The front label features the Prunier logo and the "V.S." designation prominently, along with a diamond-shaped design that adds a touch of sophistication. The neck is adorned with an orange cap, providing a vibrant contrast to the classic design. The year "1769" is embossed at the base of the bottle, signifying the long-standing tradition and excellence of the Prunier brand.

How to drink

This versatile Cognac is perfect for use as a base for cocktails, thanks to its aromatic composition. It can also be enjoyed chilled alongside fresh salmon or a crab salad, making it a delightful addition to any meal. Whether mixed in cocktails or enjoyed neat, the Prunier V.S. Cognac offers a refreshing and vibrant tasting experience.
