Godet Cognac No.1 Cocktail Exclusive made with Fins Bois and Bons Bois grapes
As part of its new No. 1 range, Godet is merging modern mixology with a centuries-old tradition in its Godet Cognac No. 1 Cocktail Exclusive, designed to create the perfect Cognac-based cocktail. It has been aged for at least three years in oak barrels.
With the ascension of mixology in recent years, Godet’s new range aims to create attractive, uncomplicated Cognacs to produce the ideal spirit base for your favorite cocktails. The Godet Cognac No. 1 Cocktail Exclusive’s intense, floral notes make it the quintessential ingredient in a classic Sidecar cocktail, delicately balancing with the citrusy flavors of lemon juice and orange liqueur - the perfect combination for any mixologist.
Its gentle aging process means a less pronounced alcohol reduction, which packs a punch in classic and innovative cocktails alike. An assembly of Fins Bois and Bon Bois, this low-tannin, 100% naturally-colored Cognac leaves a warm and lasting finish on the palate, with earthy, floral tones and a hint of herbs.
15 generations after the Maison Godet was founded, the No. 1 range is shaking up the industry by introducing Cognacs specifically developed for mixology. When shaken or stirred into any cocktail, the fresh aroma and lightly acidic tones of Godet Cognac No. 1 Cocktail Exclusive elevate the various components whilst still emphasizing the heritage and craftsmanship of the Maison.
In this modern and innovating new vision, this product will surely be a permanent fixture on the shelves of any trendy cocktail bar, and its use in cocktails is gaining momentum already...

About Godet Cognac
The house of Godet has been run by the family for 14 generations. It is a perfect example of a cognac house that deeply believes in the tradition of this spirit and its origins. At the same time, Godet manages to move with modern times, having recently created a cognac from a grape that is almost extinct in the cognac industry: Folle Blache. This cognac is called "Antarctica Godet" and was inspired by a 2-month sailing trip to the South Pole.
