Description

Courvoisier Artisan VS Double Oak Cognac

A VS delight featuring floral freshness and fruity flavours. The youngest of the artisan range from Cognac giant, Courvoisier, VS Double Oak is a quality Cognac worth the hype. First aged in virgin Limousin oak barrels, the eaux-de-vie is then transferred to more mature barrels for a minimum of one year. The result, leaves a seductively smooth, vibrant and fruity blend of Cognac, perfect for mixing in long drinks and cocktails.

Courvoisier takes great care in delivering quality at each stage of the Cognac production process. Nurturing close relationships with local vine growers of the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Fins Bois and Borderies crus, ensures the grapes used are the finest of the Cognac region. Combining old techniques with new technology, Maison Courvoisier values the delicate blend of art and science when crafting Cognac.

With exceptional quality at the forefront of the brand's values, the house of Courvoisier toasted the Grand Opening of the Eiffel Tower back in 1889. Such a momentous occasion sets the tradition that Courvoisier Cognac is the perfect drink choice for special occasions and celebrations.

Presentation of the bottle

Dressed in a contemporary, wide-set bottle, its quirky presentation reflects the larger than life Cognac housed inside. Masters in the art of Cognac, Courvoisier have expertly produced an enticing VS that appeals from inside out. From its stunning amber coloring to its purple branding embellishing the bottle. This VS certainly gets our stamp of approval.

How to enjoy

Enjoy neat as an aperitif, on the rocks, or with a mixer of your choice to make a long drink - perfect for those hot summer days.

About Courvoisier Cognac

Courvoisier is amongst the four leading Cognac houses in the world - also known as the 'Big Four'. Legend has it that the emperor Napoléon himself chose Courvoisier as his preferred Cognac, therefore Courvoisier brandy is often referred to as “The Cognac of Napoleon”. The company dates back to 1828 and since has its headquarters in the town of Jarnac. With prestigious bottles such as Courvoisier Napoléon or Josephine, the Cognac house is at the top of the luxury spirits market. The Courvoisier VS, VSOP, and Rose Liqueur are also very popular. The drink is strongly ingrained in US Hip Hop culture with Busta Rhymes and P Diddy dedicating the song “Pass the Courvoisier” to the traditional brand.
