Eye: Pale golden colour.

Nose: A mild aroma that is noticeably well balanced in its fragrances. Notes of vanilla blend subtly with those of candied fruits and dried figs.

Mouth: This Cognac is powerful yet mellow on the palate. The predictable flavor of vanilla is met with more complex notes of spices, florals and nuances of oak and leather that are surprising for such a young Cognac. The finish is persistently rounded.

Description

Claude Thorin Séduction Grande Champagne

Claude Thorin Séduction Grande Champagne is a soft and fresh, VS quality Cognac. The Cognac has been produced from a blend of several different eaux-de-vie that are all from the premier cru of Grande Champagne. Each eau-de-vie in this Cognac has been aged for a minimum of four years and spent the first year of its maturation in brand new oak barrels, this process gives it an extra sweetness and enhances the notes of vanilla and wood.

The Claude Thorin vineyard is located in the premium terroir of Grande Champagne and was founded by André Thorin in 1950, it is now managed by his son Claude. The excellent climate and soil with a high chalk content produces eaux-de-vie that is delicate and refined, by blending these different eaux-de-vie a Cognac with a soft complexity is produced. However, the taste of this Cognac is particularly soft for one so young from the region.

The entire production of Claude Thorin Cognac is handled by the family on their estate. The Claude Thorin vineyards extend over a hundred hectares and the wineries that house its Cognacs are centuries old. Claude Thorin is the epitome of a classic and authentic Cognac producer.

How to enjoy:

A delightful young cognac that can be enjoyed in a multitude of ways: indulge yourself on the rocks, with a drop of water, as a base to your favourite cocktail or perhaps with tonic or soda for a refreshing summer beverage.
