The youngest of all offerings from this luxurious house, the Chabasse VS Selection Cognac brings classic notes of vanilla and spices, complemented by a floral sweetness and the aroma of toasted oak barrels. A good introduction to the world of Cognac, this is an expression that knows how to impress.

Maison Chabasse is an independent Cognac house with a global depth; indeed, their Cognacs are renowned and enjoyed the world over. Their ancestral 17th-century estate lies in the town of Saint-Jean d’Angely, north of Cognac. Still in the hands of the Chambasse family, it’s run by Réné-Luc Chabasse, a direct descendant of the estate’s founder Jean-Baptiste Chabasse. This quirky Cognac house enjoys combining the traditional and the contemporary, both in the flavours of their releases as well as the packaging.

Serving Suggestion

While this is a great Cognac to drink neat or over ice in a tumbler glass, its floral and fruity palate is complemented perfectly in a cocktail or long drink. Try mixing it with ginger ale and mint leaves for a refreshing summer beverage.
