Ansac VS Cognac
The youngest Cognac of the Ansac range, VS Cognac is a fresh and fragrant blend of eaux-de-vie that spent at least 2 years aging in French oak barrels. Offering sweet notes of dried fruit, nut and lime blossom, it is a robust and well-balanced blend to be enjoyed in a cocktail or as the base of a long drink.
Ansac Cognac inherits the excellence of traditional know-how, which is enhanced by the quality wine harvests of the local Cognac terroirs. Over the years, the most prestigious eaux-de-vie is made with careful attention to detail and devotion to the art of blending. The house of Ansac prides itself on producing a collection of quality Cognacs in keeping with modern consumer tastes.
Presentation of the bottle
Dressed in a subtly round and elegantly shaped bottle, Ansac VS features a black and gold color scheme. The black cap unveils two thin gold lines and the typography “Maitre de Chai” (Cellar Master) between the lines, symbolic of the role of the cellar master, who is the glue that marries together each stage of the creation process. Just below the neck of the bottle, a gold-colored medallion displays the letters VS, while the main label includes the Ansac emblem and specific information about the product. A well-presented VS, perfect for those new to the world of Cognac.
How to enjoy
A fresh and fruity Cognac revealing notes of dried fruits, nuts and lime makes this the perfect aperitif. Let this Cognac do the talking by appreciating it neat or on the rocks. Alternatively, VS Cognac forms the perfect base to your favorite classic cocktails.
