Description
The ABK6 VS Pure Single Cognac is the youngest on offer by this high quality Cognac house. As with all of their products, this is created from the single estate of Abecassis. Fruity, vibrant, and full of character, the house of ABK6 say that it can be enjoyed in many different ways. For example, it complements spicy food extremely well - try as an aperitif before an appetiser such as curried prawns. If you enjoy fish or sushi, then these will bring out the best notes of oak and hazelnut - there's so much variation and depth to be found in this young eaux-de-vie.
It's also great combined with your favorite mixer. Or why not try with ice cold tonic and a touch of creme de cassis - delicious.
It's a Cognac that's been well decorarated by industry experts, winning the following awards:
Gold medal, Concours Mondialle Bruxelles 2012
Silver medal, International Wine & Spirits Competition 2015
94 points, Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2015

Really Good Value
The ABK6 VS is really fruity, both on the nose and palate. There's some honey and vanilla sweetness to it, but the main focus seems to be stone fruits and pears. Good acidity, makes you want to keep sipping. Also, there's a wonderful jasmine and orange blossom note that develops over some time.
About ABK6 Cognac
Owned by Francis Abécassis (a homonym of ABK6 when pronounced in French), ABK6 Cognac is a relatively young brand based in the Domaine de Chez Maillard near the village of Claix. The brand is known for its choice to produce single estate Cognacs, with its eaux-de-vie being carefully selected from their 220 hectares of land, specifically for their aromatic intensity and indulgence. The label has shaken up the industry by introducing a young and modern spirit to a traditional drink, without compromising on quality. The company is now one of the largest independent producers in Cognac, and also owns the brands Leyrat, Reviseur and Grands Domaines. Attention to detail is applied to every single aspect of production at ABK6, with sustainable growing methods, Charentaise distillation and precise blending. It’s no wonder the group has taken home over 60 awards in recent years.
