Description
An Experienced Expression of the Fins Bois: A 1996 Vintage Cognac
For a Millésime Cognac that has been picked, distilled and aged on one family estate, we recommend the Rémy Couillebaud 1996 Vintage Cognac. This overproof Cognac is a natural expression of the Fins Bois growth area, from one outstanding harvest in 1996.
The strong flavors of licorice and undergrowth make this an excellent choice for seasoned Cognac drinkers.
Their estate comprises over 33 hectares of vineyards at the heart of the largest growth areas, which is renowned for its strong and fruity eaux-de-vie. Aged for over two decades in oak casks, it is testament to their ability to create small batches of Vintage Cognac.
Since 1995, Rémy Couillebaud have been crafting small amounts of Millésime Cognac and are regulated every year by the Bureau National du Cognac. After 20 years of patience and hard graft, they can now present their elixirs to the world.
This Cognac is only available in limited quantities, due to the artisanal nature of its production.
