Description
Prunier Vintage 1990 Grande Champagne Cognac
The Prunier Vintage 1990 Grande Champagne Cognac is a deliciously delicate eaux-de-vie from the prestigious premier cru. With notes of citrus, fresh almond and on the nose, this Cognac offers beautiful precision and finesse against hints of fine lees as the tannins are well integrated and inject an overall delicate touch. Traditionally, the locals in Cognac drank the eaux-de-vie directly from the casks in their cellars, and so, for more than 20 years the house of Prunier has been offering old Cognacs like the vintage 1990, directly from the cask at natural strength. This usually means that only three or four hundred bottles can be produced per vintage year - making each and every one even more special as they prove are rare to come by.
How to enjoy
Having found its alcohol content naturally over time, this vintage Cognac contains unparalleled elegance and infinite depth that should be enjoyed one sip at a time. Drink neat from a tulip glass, as the narrow top of this type of glass will delicately distribute the arrival of aromas during the tasting.
Prunier Mini Vintage 1987 Petite Champagne Cognac
